After-school programs and youth groups often need an active group activity that can fit their age range, schedule, available space and supervision plan.
GAMEYARD mobile laser tag uses short, objective-based rounds with equipment, setup, briefing and event flow handled by the GAMEYARD crew.
GAMEYARD manages the active play area, explains the rules and leads the scheduled rounds. Program staff continue supervising participants outside the active play area and handling any wider program or venue responsibilities.
Laser Tag Youth Groups: Why the Format Works
GAMEYARD’s Falcon F1 experience is generally designed for ages 6+. Children ages 4 and 5 can participate using our age-appropriate younger-player taggers, with simpler instructions, objectives, pacing and round formats based on the group.
Each session is led by two crew members who explain the rules, organize teams and manage the scheduled rounds. The play area uses clear boundaries, no-fire Base Zones and no-contact rules.
Program staff continue supervising participants outside the active play area and handling any wider program or venue responsibilities.
Setup and Program Scheduling
Time is limited in after-school programs. Activities need to start and end on schedule.
The GAMEYARD crew handles the mobile laser tag equipment, play-area setup, rules briefing, scheduled rounds and pack-down. Organizers should confirm the available event window, venue access and any program-specific timing requirements before the booking is finalized.
The proposed gym, multipurpose room or other play area must be reviewed for available space, access and suitability before the event format is confirmed.
Movement and Mission-Based Play
Mobile laser tag uses movement, communication and objective-based play rather than traditional sports scoring.
Participants may walk, move, communicate and work through team objectives during the scheduled rounds. The equipment uses infrared signals, and the format is no-contact and projectile-free.
Organizers should share the age range, group size and any accessibility, sensory, mobility or supervision needs before booking so the proposed format can be reviewed.
Age, Equipment and Participation Planning
Round objectives, pacing and equipment are selected around the group information provided before the event. Accessibility, sensory, mobility and participation needs should be shared before booking so GAMEYARD can discuss whether the activity and proposed setup are suitable.

Venue and Event Planning
If a separate venue is needed, GAMEYARD may suggest possible options. The customer selects the venue, confirms availability, books it and pays the venue directly. GAMEYARD must review the proposed play area before the event format is confirmed.
For a public park or conservation area, the customer must obtain any required reservation, permit and activity approval. The site operator must allow the activity, and GAMEYARD must confirm that the proposed space is suitable.
Share the participant count, age range, available time, proposed space and program requirements so GAMEYARD can recommend an appropriate event plan.
Review GAMEYARD group event options, the school event safety protocol, school laser tag safety and insurance information, the rotation system for large school events and participation planning for students.
