Objective-based laser tag gives a corporate group more to do than collect individual points. Each mission has a clear goal, so players can decide how to divide roles, communicate information and adjust their approach during the round.
The three formats below are examples that GAMEYARD may use when they fit the event plan. The final mission selection depends on the group, available time, play area and event objectives.
Mission 1: Capture the Flag
Two teams work toward a defined objective: reach the opposing side, secure the flag or objective item and return it to their own Base Zone. Players can choose who advances, who protects space and how they will share information.
- Creates a shared objective for the full team.
- Allows players to take offensive, defensive or support roles.
- Requires teams to react when the other side changes its approach.
Mission 2: Base Defense
In Base Defense, each team protects its zone while working toward the round objective. Players decide how many teammates will defend, move forward or change positions as the situation develops.
- Gives the group a practical reason to assign roles.
- Combines planning with decisions made during play.
- Shows how different roles can contribute to one objective.
Mission 3: Protect the VIP
One player is assigned as the VIP while the rest of the team coordinates movement and protection. The group must decide how to move together, respond to pressure and complete the objective within the available time.
- Places a clear constraint around the team’s plan.
- Encourages players to share observations and adjust positions.
- Creates multiple roles within the same mission.

How GAMEYARD Plans Corporate Rounds
GAMEYARD can run up to 20 active players at one time, although 16 is generally recommended. Larger groups can rotate through the scheduled rounds. Corporate rounds generally run for five to ten minutes, with exact timing based on the mission, group, space and transitions.
GAMEYARD manages the active play area, explains the rules and leads the scheduled rounds. Your organization continues supervising participants outside the active play area and handling the wider venue and event responsibilities.
If a separate venue is needed, GAMEYARD may suggest possible options. The customer selects the venue, confirms availability, books it and pays the venue directly.
Choose a Mission-Based Corporate Event
The event creates an active shared experience where employees can communicate, participate and work through team objectives together. These are participation opportunities, not guaranteed workplace outcomes.
