GAMEYARD brings the laser tag equipment and event setup to the customer’s confirmed location. The exact kit depends on the event plan, group, age range and play area.
The mobile setup can include taggers, sensors, portable obstacles, boundary markers, Base Zones and objective items. GAMEYARD also explains the rules and leads the scheduled rounds.
Falcon F1 and Younger-Player Taggers
GAMEYARD generally uses Falcon F1 taggers for players aged six and older. The taggers use eye-safe infrared technology and do not fire projectiles.
For children aged four or five, GAMEYARD can use younger-player taggers with simpler instructions, objectives, pacing and round formats when this is included in the event plan. Providing the age range in advance helps the team prepare the appropriate equipment.
Sensors, Scoring and Game Settings
The taggers and sensors register activity during the game according to the selected settings. GAMEYARD configures the equipment for the planned mission and explains the relevant controls and rules before the round begins.
The setup supports team and objective-based formats, but the selected settings can vary between birthdays, schools, community programs and corporate events.

Obstacles, Base Zones and Mission Items
Portable obstacles can help define movement lanes and create cover within an approved play area. Boundary markers identify where active play takes place. Base Zones and objective items may be added when they fit the selected mission and layout.
- Base Zones can identify team areas or no-fire areas.
- Flags or objective items may be used for capture-style missions.
- Timers and mission settings may be used when the event plan calls for a timed objective.
These components are event-plan dependent and are not required for every round.
Equipment Preparation and Event Setup
Before the scheduled activity, the GAMEYARD crew prepares the equipment planned for the event and reviews the play area. The team then sets the boundaries, arranges the selected equipment and confirms the round sequence.
GAMEYARD manages the active play area, explains the rules and leads the scheduled rounds. The customer or program staff continue handling the venue and supervising participants outside the active play area.
