An outdoor birthday party can work well when the location has enough usable space, clear boundaries, practical access and current approval for the planned activity. A park that worked for a previous event is not automatically approved for a new date, group or setup.

What Makes a Park Suitable for an Active Birthday?
Before choosing a park, check:
- the size and condition of the usable open area;
- whether the planned activity is permitted;
- reservation, permit and insurance requirements;
- washroom, parking and accessibility needs;
- distance from vehicles and unrelated foot traffic;
- shade, water and extreme-weather considerations; and
- an indoor or rain-date backup.

Milton Community Park: Confirm the Permit and Activity
GAMEYARD has previously operated at Milton Community Park. For a future event, the customer must confirm the current requirements with the Town of Milton, and GAMEYARD must confirm that the proposed area is suitable for the event plan.
The Town’s current parks, trails and park-rental guidance says a permit is required when a gathering has more than 25 people or needs exclusive use, a barbeque or inflatable device, food or merchandise vendors, a tent larger than 10 feet by 10 feet, or vehicle access.
Those triggers do not replace the need to confirm whether mobile laser tag is permitted in the exact area proposed for the event.
Kelso Conservation Area: Confirm Admission, Reservation and Activity Approval
GAMEYARD has previously operated at Kelso Conservation Area. For a new event, confirm the current admission or reservation requirements and whether mobile laser tag is permitted in the selected area with Conservation Halton.
Review Conservation Halton’s current Kelso park information and, where relevant, its birthday-party information. A Conservation Halton birthday package and a separately arranged GAMEYARD event are different services, so the customer must confirm the correct permission path.
Burlington Parks: Confirm the Specific Site and 2026 Rules
GAMEYARD has previously operated at Spencer Smith Park and other Burlington locations. That experience does not guarantee approval for another event.
The City of Burlington’s current picnic information explains its booking process, insurance requirements, picnic-site rules and current seasonal details. Before booking, confirm the specific park, group size, activity, equipment, insurance and any additional permit requirements with the City.
Do not assume that an open public area is reserved for your group. The space covered by a rental or permit may be different from the surrounding public area.
What the Customer and GAMEYARD Each Confirm
The customer is responsible for selecting the location and obtaining any required reservation, permit and activity approval from the municipality or site operator.
GAMEYARD reviews the proposed area and confirms whether it is suitable for the planned mobile laser tag setup. Suitability depends on the usable space, surface, access, group size, age range, nearby traffic and event format.
Send current photos or a short video of the proposed area before finalising the location. A map link is helpful, but it may not show temporary construction, seasonal conditions or the exact space available on the event date.
