Laser tag birthday prices in the GTA are easier to compare when you look beyond the advertised starting number. Player limits, event length, travel, staffing, venue responsibility, setup, pack-down and optional media can all affect the final amount and the organizer’s workload.
This guide explains GAMEYARD’s current mobile birthday pricing and provides a practical checklist for comparing it with other providers. Provider prices and inclusions can change, so confirm every offer directly before booking.
Current GAMEYARD Birthday Pricing
Pricing checked against the GAMEYARD birthday page on 28 July 2026.
- Monday to Thursday: $299 + HST
- Friday to Sunday: $349 + HST
- Event length: 90 minutes of coached play
- Players included: 16
- Additional players: $10 each
- Deposit: A $100 deposit reserves the date and goes toward the event total.
Up to 20 players may be active at one time when the space and event plan allow; 16 active players is generally recommended for clearer movement and event flow. Larger groups can participate through scheduled rotations or tournament-style formats.
What the GAMEYARD Service Includes
- mobile laser tag equipment and the planned obstacles;
- event setup and pack-down;
- two GAMEYARD crew members;
- a rules and safety briefing;
- coach-led, objective-based rounds;
- team organization, transitions and live scoring; and
- 90 minutes of coached play.
The event requires a suitable customer location, rented indoor venue or approved outdoor space. GAMEYARD reviews the proposed area before the event plan is finalised.
Travel Tiers
Travel fees are based on the distance from the GAMEYARD Milton office to the event location.
- Up to 25 km: No travel fee
- Over 25 km and up to 50 km: $49
- Over 50 km and up to 75 km: $99
- Over 75 km and up to 100 km: $149
- Over 100 km: Call for quote
GAMEYARD’s regular service area extends up to 100 km from Milton. For events over 100 km, contact us for a quote.
Optional Birthday Media Pack
The optional Birthday Media Pack is $80. It includes 20 edited photos, all unedited photos and one 60-second highlight video, delivered within 48 hours. Drone footage may be included only when the venue permits it and the space and conditions are suitable.
If You Need an Indoor Venue
GAMEYARD may suggest possible venue options, but the customer selects the venue, confirms availability, books it and pays the venue directly. The venue charge is separate from the GAMEYARD service price.
Before booking a venue, share its information with GAMEYARD so the usable space, access, timing and site rules can be reviewed.
A Fair GTA Pricing Checklist
When comparing providers, ask the same questions about every offer:
- Is the service mobile or facility-based?
- Is play private to your group or shared?
- How many players are included in the advertised price?
- What is the total after additional-player charges?
- How much coached play time is included?
- Are briefing, transitions or party-room time counted separately?
- Who provides the venue, and is its cost included?
- Are travel charges added?
- Who runs the rounds and manages setup and cleanup?
- Are photos or video included, optional or unavailable?
- What deposit, cancellation and rescheduling terms apply?
For a Monday-to-Thursday GAMEYARD birthday with 16 included players, the $299 base price equals approximately $18.69 per included player before HST, travel, venue, Media Pack or additional-player charges. Weekend pricing and the final event total will differ.
